Fragrances Honored at FiFi Awards

The Fragrance Foundation hosted the 34th annual FiFi Awards Monday night in New York City.  Actress Geena Davis took center stage to host the event in an atmosphere of glamour and excitement.  Davis was joined by presenters Sarah Jessica Parker, Vivica A. Fox, Philip Bloch, Betsey Johnson, Lee Ann Womack, John Corbett, Bo Derek and Vanessa Minnillo

Also at the event, four FiFi Award winners who were announced at the FiFi Finalists Breakfast on Feb. 28 were introduced and recognized for their achievements.

Evelyn H. Lauder, Senior Corporate Vice President of The Estēe Lauder Companies Inc., received The Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award.  Evelyn Lauder was chosen as this year’s winner by The Fragrance Foundation’s Board of Directors for the extraordinary ingenuity, dedication and inner resources she has brought, not only to her Company’s success, but to the entire fragrance industry.
 
Another highlight of the evening was the acknowledgement of fragrance sales specialists, David Atwood and Sharron Moeckel, who were the top scorers on the Certified Fragrance Sales Specialist exam. Atwood is a fragrance sales specialist for Clarins Fragrance Group at Kauffmans East View in Victor, New York, and Moeckel is a fragrance sales specialist for Clarins Fragrance Group at Dillards in Little Rock, Arkansas.
 
Established in 1949, The Fragrance Foundation is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to enhance the image of the Fragrance Industry to the public and expand the appreciation and use of fragrance in all its forms across all distribution channels in the Americas.
